If you want, you can Shift sticks from this card like you would any other. It is at the very least more than our boy Chuckles did. You may not however Shift sticks to this card.

Sticks on this card count toward Tactical Victory. That is, at the start of the game, you already have 8! Of course, shifting will reduce that number.

George II blamed the defeat on Charles's inaction. If you had asked Charles, though, he'd have said that holding their position near the Jeker kept the line of retreat open, and is what saved the Pragmatic Army. In any case, the Austrians don't have much to do in this scenario, but here they are just the same.

The 51-year-old Browne commanded the defense of the Austrian right, throwing off the Prussians with great success. While planning a general counterattack, his leg was hit by a cannonball. His removal left the Austrian line rudderless. Browne would die from his wound 52 days later.

Luxembourg split the French army in two, attempting a risky double envelopment of Waldeck's line. He succeeded, and the enemy only escaped total destruction by the skin of its teeth. Both players should read the "Retreat to Nivelles" card carefully before playing.
